Who is Lilou Mace?

The author of I Lost My Job and I Liked It, Lilou Mace, is passionate about living a "juicy life."

Lilou Mace

Her book details how she turned a job loss into a Law of Attraction journey to land her dream job.

Her job as an Internet Marketing Director for a London-based hospitality company was very taxing. The long hours and stress made her feel that she was not in control of her life.

After the initial shock and surprise wore off, she felt a sense of relief, and excitedness. Now, she had the perfect opportunity to develop her purpose and find her passion.

Her job loss was not a coincidence. She was not happy in her role, and her gratefulness over being free is an example of the Law of Attraction at work.

Juicy Living

Soon after she was laid off (made redundant), she received an inner nudge to keep a journal. And then turn it into a book.

Folllowing this universal guidance, Lilou did just that. Defying "conventional" wisdom, she keeps her London apartment and pricey gym membership. And focuses on what feels good. She knows that what we focus on expands.

She has seen it work in the past with her work on Co-Creating Our Reality (CCOR). There, she has posted viedos that detail how several of her desires have manifested.

At the beginning of her journey, Lilou Mace recalls a line from Conversations With God:

"I am not concerned about your worldly success…only you are. You are not to worry about making a living. True masters are those who have chosen to make a life—not a living. Go ahead—do whatever you really love. Do nothing else! You have so little time. Why would you want to waste it doing something you don't want to do? That isn't a living—it's a DYING."

Her book is a 30-day stream of consciousness journal where she releases her fears, cancels any doubtful thoughts, finds something everyday to be grateful about, and eats avocados.

"I want you to wake up in the morning and say: 'I cannot wait to see what Life will bring me today!'"

Throughout the book, she continually asks for guidance, and more importantly, allows the pieces to come together.

I Lost My Job and I liked it

Lilou Mace version of I Kissed a Girl and I Liked It.

Lyrics by Lilou Mace

This was never the way I planned
Not my intention
I got so bored pen in hand
Hit by recession
It's not what I'm used to
Just wanna-try-move-on
I'm curious anew
Goodbye depression

I lost my job and I liked it
The taste of this crazy crisis
I lost my job, can't deny it
And now my dream job, I'll find it
It felt so good
It felt so right
Don't mean I'll get drunk tonight
I lost my job and I liked it
I liked it

Now, I don't really feel the same
It's getting better
It's an experimental game
And second nature
It's not what I'm used to
Not how I would behave
My hearts no more confused
Can't now betray

I lost my job and I liked it
The taste of this crazy crisis
I lost my job, can't deny it
And now my dream job, I'll find it
It felt so good
It felt so right
Don't mean I'll get drunk tonight
I lost my job and I liked it
I liked it

My life is now so magical
No fuss, no boss, it's possible
High road to bliss so viable
So good you should try it
And now I feel magnificent

I lost my job and I liked it
The taste of this crazy crisis
I lost my job, can't deny it
And now my dream job, I'll find it

It felt so good
It felt so right
Don't mean I'll get drunk tonight
I lost my job and I liked it
I liked it
