Perhaps the most compelling book by Hicks Abraham is Ask And It Is Given.
Abraham said they like the title as it says everything you need to know. But, they wished it could be a little longer. They wanted to call the book:
'So I am source energy and I am aware that I am a creative genius and that I am pure positive energy. And so I express a part of my consciousness into physical form where I explore the contrast of the time space reality. And in knowing what I don't want, I know what I do want and I am asking constantly for improvement. And as I ask for that improvement the source energy part of me answers that by riding the rocket of desire and literally becoming the vibrational equivalent of that what I've asked for. And when I find a way to line up with that, then I receive it.'
~Abraham as quoted in "Aligning with Vibrational Energy"
But apparently the publisher, Hay House Publishing, said it was too long.
All is well. And you are meant to enjoy life. Don't take things too seriously and have fun with this life experience. When you made the decision to come forth, you were excited about it. Live life like a child again and you will enjoy all that this life has to offer you. Don't forget that you are the deliberate creator of your own experience. Design the life of your dreams.
This world is not perfect. It is not meant to be. But you chose to come to this physical place of contrast. When you see things you don't like, it helps you to better define what you want to create. By knowing what you don't want it is easy to decide what you do want.
This Hicks Abraham treasure trove is complete with the background of Abraham Hicks and includes 22 processes for moving up the emotional scale. There is a process designed for every stage of the scale that you may currently be in.
Typically, you need to move up the emotional scale gradually. It is like tuning into a radio. You cannot hear what is being broadcast on 96.7 FM when you are vibrating to 105.3 FM. When you want to experience thoughts of joy, but you're feeling pessimistic, this is a long stretch.
As you can see, boredom is a better feeling than pessimism. Reach for the better feeling thought. Incrementally, you will work your way up the scale to joy and empowerment.
The wisdom shared by Hicks Abraham can lead you to a better life.
If you've not read any Abraham-Hicks books, Ask And It Is Given is a great place to start. And if you have, this one will fill in some of the holes.
